Zinc Statue

Sometime in the past hundred years, this cast zinc garden statue had been sunk into a 500 lb. concrete base for security. In an attempt to move it, the sculpture's body was ripped from the feet.

We removed the statue's base from the concrete with an air hammer, and rebuilt it, preserving its patina.

We built a boat-like internal wooden structure to support the sculpture's body and tie it to the base.

The completely restored statue
